Praying for Boston right now.

This is stupid. I have had all of my Stephen King books out of storage for almost a month now & haven’t gotten back into the swing of things here yet.

The procrastination ends TONIGHT.

On My Doorstep

I walked out of my apartment tonight to about eight Stephen King hardcover books sitting on my stoop. Gasping with joy, I paused. I was running exactly on time for an event I wanted badly to attend with a good friend. Did I dare scoop all of the books up and take them back upstairs to my place? I wrestled with it, but decided that I needed to get to the plays I was going to see.

When I got home after a night of theatre and friendship, I gleefully discovered that almost all of the books were still there. When consulting my before and after photos (I did stop to take a photo, of course), I found that the only books that anyone had taken were the ones I already owned in hardcover! PLUS, there was a pristine #29 Ghost Rider comic (featuring Wolverine and Beast).

I mean, DUDE.

Tonight was a good night.
